Ceci's Day

This past weekend was Ceci's big day and God decided to have the last laugh and sent this just to make sure we were paying attention or thought we might actually have some spring weather.

While the weather did keep some guests home (you can drive in snow - up to a  point - but you can't drive on ice) PH and I left a day early about two hours ahead of the storm and made it to the other side of the state because you don't disappoint the little ones.
Ceci's First Communion day was yesterday and she was beautiful.  Of course, she's always beautiful, but there's nothing like a little girl all dressed up, is there?  Maybe a little boy all dressed up, that works, too.

The head band she wore was the one her momma wore on her wedding day.

There was a big celebration party at home and when all was said and done the littles were tired and in need of a story. That's my department.  I read Princess Cora and the Crocodile, one of our gifts to Ceci, and you can see Mikey just gave in to the day.  There's nothing like a day with the kidlets.

Despite and in spite of the weather, Ceci had a wonderful day.  Congratulations, Sweets!
